Keep this combination sheet in a secure place other than inside your safe as a permanent record of both your combination and serial number. Compare the serial number written on this sheet with the serial number on the safe. IF THE NUMBERS DO NOT MATCH, DO NOT PROCEED WITH THESE INSTRUCIONS. Contact your dealer immediately.
SAFE SERIAL NUMBER: S/N______________
INTIAL LOCK TEST
To open your safe, turn the dial to the right (clockwise) until the dial stops at 87, then turn the safe handle clockwise until it stops turning. If your safe is equipped with a keyed dial you will need to unlock the dial before being able to turn it. Pull the door open as far as it will go ( about ninety degrees) and extend the chrome locking pins by turning the safe handled counterclockwise until it stops. Carefully follow the opening instructions below. NOTE: without the door fully open or fully closed your dial will not turn past zero.
OPENING INSTUCTIONS
The lock requires accurate alignment with the opening index, which is locate at twelve 0’clock on the dial ring. Turn the dial slowly and steadily while entering your combination to avoid dialing past the numbers.
If you go past a number when you meant to stop - even if by half a number – the entire sequence must be re- dialed. Never spin the dial rapidly back and forth as this may cause damage to the lock.
To unlock your safe follow the five steps below. NOTE: You should not count the number of complete revolutions in each step, but the number of times each number passes the opening index.
Turn the dial to the LEFT (counterclockwise) stopping on the fourth time this____ number aligns with the opening index.
Turn the dial to the RIGHT (clockwise) stopping on __ _ the third time this number aligns with the opening index.
Turn the dial to the LEFT (counterclockwise) stopping on _ _ The second time this number aligns with the opening index.
Turn the dial RIGHT (clockwise) until the dial stops at or on 87 or 95. You will feel some resistance and keep turning until the dial completely stops.
Turn the safe handle clockwise to retract the locking pins.
When locking your safe, the combination dial must be turned at least four revolutions counterclockwise to completely scramble the combination. If using keyed dial, you may lock the dial in place by turning the dial to zero and turning the key. Caution: Locking the dial without scrambling the combination does not fully secure your safe!
