A Few Words About DeliveryWe sell safes four ways
Customer comes to us and we load the safe on the customer's truck. Most safes are picked-up in Mendon, or our West Springfield store, or some are picked-up at gun shows, sportsman's shows, etc. There is no charge for picked-up safes. If you order a safe to be picked-up at a show, it is best if you meet us before the show opens or after it closes. Some shows are very busy and we will not be able to leave our booth to load your safe as soon as you arrive. We will provide ground delivery to the customer's address using our trucks. It's the drivers job to get the safe to the customer's address and off the truck. That's all. He will not unbox the safe or put it in the home. If he can unload the safe and easily roll it into your garage out of the weather, he may but it is not required to. Drop Shipping and size and weight (up to 2,000 pounds) anywhere in the 6 New England states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont) (even the islands. Ferry fees and delays are extra). Delivery outside the New England area is available but may involve an additional charge. Drop Shipped on a Common Carrier For delivery outside our travel area we can ship on a common carrier truck. You have the option of ordering "liftgate service" to provide ground delivery (usually an extra charge) or standard "tailgate" delivery if you have the means to get the safe off the truck (loading dock, forklift, tractor, etc.). The cost for this service will vary with the class of safe, total shipping weight and delivery zip code. We can provide you with a quote once you have chosen your safe. We may be able to arrange shipping from a warehouse closer to you. We will deliver your safe and put it in your home or office. You don't have to touch it. We will remove all packaging, level the safe, make any adjustments, test the lock and show you how to use it. The "Installed" prices quoted will vary with the size and weight of each safe. All prices listed are based on a typical 1st floor access involving 0 to 4 steps up or down from your driveway level. Additional stairs, basement bulkhead or hatchway entrances, second floors, etc. will incur additional charge. We have installed thousands of safes under all types of conditions but we reserve the right to decline any installation deemed by us to be unsafe. Some safes are too large to move up or down stairs and should be considered for roll-in or ground level access only. Again the prices listed are far the New England Region.
